NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde invites applications for a Paediatric Cardiologist with a special interest in cross-sectional imaging. This post is based at the Royal Hospital for Children (RHC), the single tertiary referral centre for children and adolescents with congenital heart disease throughout Scotland, a catchment population of approximately 5.5 million. You will join a team of six cardiologists in providing care to children with congenital heart disease both in Glasgow and at outreach clinics. This post includes an after-hours general cardiology call commitment, delivered with a full tier of junior medical grade staff and Advanced Nurse Practitioners. In addition you will provide and further develop the progressively expanding cross-sectional cardiac imaging team, in collaboration with the Diagnostics directorate.
All candidates must hold full GMC specialist registration and a licence to practice. A CCT in Paediatric Cardiology or an equivalent, recognised qualification is mandatory.
