The Respite and Residential Service, Sunndach & Calareidh comprises of two purpose built community based bungalows funded and managed within the Royal Hospital for Children and Young people (RHCYP). The service offers families respite packages of supportive care for children who have profound disabilities and complex health care needs . We work in partnership with families and the multidisciplinary team to meet the holistic care needs of the Children and Young people (CYP) whether for long or short term stays. We will also support and provide palliative and end of life care.
We welcome applications from registered Learning Disability and Child Health Nurses who deliver high standards of care and are keen to join a motivated, forward thinking , enthusiastic team. The successful candidate will have a primary base house, however the post requires flexibility over both sites on occasion, to meet the demands of the service. Ample parking is available on site, flexible working and part-time arrangements will be considered.
