Fixed term up to 8 months.  

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Childhood Immunisation Team.  As a Community Staff Nurse for immunisations you will provide an accessible and effective nursing service to children and their families, taking forward the Public Health Agenda to maximise the health and wellbeing of all children and young people. 
The childhood immunisation programme represents a key public health measure which contributes to the reduction of health inequalities as well as achieving National and Local health objectives through the focus on preventative care for pre-school and school aged children and young people. 
As part of the immunisation service you will provide professional nursing skills and knowledge to ensure the effective delivery of the Scottish Childhood Immunisation Programme. 
You must be a First level registered nurse with evidence of further professional development is essential.
There is an expectation to work cross boundary within NHS GGC as and when required.  The hours of work are 37.5 Monday to Friday from 8.30 to 16.30 and may require some evenings and weekend work. There are full-time and part-time hours available.  Interviews will take place on the 7th September 2021.
