If being part of team supporting improvement across Health and Social Care in Scotland interests you, then read on.
Healthcare Improvement Scotland’s (HIS) Improvement Hub (ihub) is seeking to recruit an experienced improver to develop and lead an exciting range of national programmes focused on supporting primary care providers to reform services and deliver high quality care.
The ihub provides support for Health and Social Care services to redesign and continuously improve. With an extensive range of improvement support programmes and collaborations with local, national and international networks, we aspire to be at the leading edge of both thinking and practice in quality improvement (QI).
The Portfolio Lead role is central to enabling this to happen. Providing senior leadership and expert QI knowledge the Primary Care Portfolio Lead will oversee the scoping, design and delivery of a range of improvement programmes alongside a range of cross-cutting work within the ihub and HIS including Frailty, Older People and Safety. In addition, the Portfolio Lead will work with key national stakeholders to support implementation of the Scottish Government’s Memorandum of Understanding 2 and GMS Contract Implementation for Primary Care Improvement.
Educated to degree level and holding a masters in quality improvement (or equivalent knowledge and experience), we are looking for an engaging, authentic leader with a track record of building effective relationships at a senior level across a wide range of sectors.
So if you are passionate about improving the outcomes and experiences of people within primary care settings, thrive within emergent and complex environments and want to work within a team that is leading improvements at a local, national and international level we want to hear from you.
The ihub provides support for the redesign and continuous improvement of health and social care services. With an impressive range of improvement support programmes, we aspire to be at the leading edge of both thinking and practice in quality improvement.
