ScotPHN was established by the Scottish Directors of Public Health to provide a means of carrying out nationally important pieces of work in the field of public health where there is a clearly identified need and priority, taking advantage of the skills, knowledge and expertise which are spread widely across Scotland.
ScotPHN is now looking to recruit an experienced administrator to support its work programme. This post is part-time (18.75 hours). The post holder will support the administration and actions of the ScotPHN and the national public health leadership groups, special interest groups and networks it supports, including the implementation of their work programmes to ensure they meet their strategic and operational goals.
It is expected that the successful candidate will be educated to HND level or will have the equivalent level of experience in administration or project support.
ScotPHN is hosted by Public Health Scotland and the successful candidate will be employed by PHS within the Place and Well-being Directorate. A Glasgow or Edinburgh base is negotiable.
During times of public health emergency, or other urgent business need you may be required on a temporary basis to work your normal contracted working hours over 7 days including weekends, in order to meet the needs of the service
