This is an exciting opportunity to join the new National Endoscopy Training Programme commissioned by NES and GJ through the NHS National Academy (NHSSA) Strategic partnership.
The Programme Lead will be directly accountable to the Chair of the NETP Board/ Director of the NHS Scotland Academy (NHSSA) and professionally accountable to the National Clinical Lead providing senior leadership and excellent programme management skills in order to support and ensure the delivery of the NETP key milestones.
The post holder will manage the programme team requiring personal attributes of self-awareness, self- confidence and self-reliance. Professional leadership skills will be required to facilitate effective relationships with senior nursing, medical, educator and managerial teams.
The post holder will specifically advise upon, lead on the development of educational programmes through collaboration with national, regional leads and educational specialists to promote endoscopy workforce training and development.
They will facilitate a dynamic team of clinical specialists, clinical skill educators, technicians and a dedicated administrator for this national training programme ensuring the development of positive, effective and credible working relationships, both internally and externally, to support the delivery of improved clinical care.

This is a full time position (fixed term or secondment opportunity for a period of 2 years).
