An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 ADHD Nurse specialist to join our Child Development Team based in Moray.
This post is a new addition to the team and the successful candidate will provide a specialist nursing role to the ADHD Team. Candidates are required to have extensive knowledge in child development, neurodevelopmental disorders, risk assessment and comorbid mental health conditions. The candidate would also be involved in the development and leadership of ADHD clinics which would include a non-medical prescribing role.
The post holder will have strong links with CAMHS and will work with patients and their families in a variety of settings and be able to show an aptitude for working with this patient group. Excellent communication skills with children and young people, families, colleagues and other stakeholders are essential.
Evidence of ongoing and appropriate professional development is required as is being flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of this service.
Car driver is essential as there may be occasions when assessment/ treatment at home or another location is required.
