CLINICAL HEALTH PSYCHOLOGIST- LONG COVID SERVICE
BAND 8B
(Salary: £60,730 - £65,377 PRO-RATA)
FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT TO 31ST MARCH 2024
An exciting opportunity has arisen in supporting patients with Long Covid, to work within the mental health service as part of a wider a multi disciplinary team to provide a targeted and agile service to help mitigate mental health effects of Covid before they come entrenched.
Develop pathways to ensure that there is good mental health support at all points of the rehabilitation pathway leading to better physical as well as mental health outcomes
The individual will work autonomously within professional guidelines and within the overall framework of policies and procedures for the Long Covid service infrastructure in NHS Highland. To apply highly specialist skills in audit, research, policy and service development in Long Covid and related clinical specialties. To link in with psychological services group for making suitable referrals.
This is a fixed term 18.75 hours per week post, worked in accordance with service requirements. This post is fixed term to 31st March 2024.
