As a Safety and Wellbeing Trainer you will deliver training in mental health and suicide prevention to various organisations, colleagues and communities across Ayrshire & Arran in conjunction with established trainers within the service.
You will have experience delivering training with good knowledge of mental health and suicide awareness. You will be able to deliver training face to face as well as on-line.
You will develop your own skill base, knowledge and experience. You will be involved in auditing and reflect on feedback to establish consistency of training delivery and continuous improvement.
You will work with stakeholders and contribute to service improvement and development.
Previous experience of working in the community and health/social care setting is desirable.
Educated to degree level or equivalent is essential.
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills is essential.
A car driver is essential.
You will be competent in the use of technology.
Hours:
- Post 1: 37.5 hours - Permanent contract.
- Post 2: 37.5 hours - Fixed Term contract for 2 years from commencement of post.
