NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde - Glasgow Royal Infirmary
We are looking for passionate forward thinking motivated people to join our award winning Orthopaedic team at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
The Orthopaedic Unit in Glasgow Royal Infirmary delivers a varied range of specialist surgeries for fractures/injuries and elective orthopaedic surgery for the North of Glasgow.
Glasgow Royal Infirmary is renowned for its patient care, and was recently ranked Scotland's best hospital by US publication Newsweek.
Our amazing team is currently the holder of the Golden Hip, which is awarded to the highest overall performing hospital in Scotland for the care of hip fracture patients.
The unit itself comprises of 60 Trauma Receiving, 27 Elective beds, Fracture and in Orthopaedic clinics, this post is based Trauma Receiving, ward 61/62. We are a close multidisciplinary team and work collaboratively across the unit.
You will have the chance to work with innovative team members within multidisciplinary environments, you will work collaboratively across the unit. You will be supported, encouraged and appreciated within your role. There will be opportunities for enhancing your skills, through additional training and development which we offer and encourage.

It is essential you are a Registered Adult Nurse with current NMC registration and recent experience in an acute hospital setting
Hours are 37.5 hours per week full time, working a 12 hour shift pattern over 7 days, including Public Holidays and weekends
