As a response to the additional accountability Scottish Government has given NHS Board Nurse Directors for the provision of nursing, leadership, support and guidance to the care home setting, an exciting development opportunity has arisen for a secondment / development opportunity until 31 March 2022 for 3 motivated Registered Nurses to work in partnership with the Care Home Professional Support Team providing expert nursing advice, information, education, guidance and support to care home staff and residents.
You will have excellent communication skills and will work with autonomy and professional discretion to prioritise and determine the daily co-ordination of activities and be proactive in responding and dealing with requests for support.
It is essential that before applying for these opportunities, you have agreement from your line manager to be released swiftly if successful. Without this agreement in place, applicants will not be interviewed.
