We have an excellent opportunity for an organized person with kitchen skills andcustomer care experience. The ideal candidate must have experience in large scale catering. You should have the ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team.
A basic food hygiene certificate would be advantageous, you should also have
experience with basic kitchen duties, cash handling and good communication skills.
The main kitchen at University Hospital Crosshouse provides in excess of 2000 prepared and cooked meals per day therapeutic diets. We also cater for meetings and functions.
Your duties will include assisting the patient meal service, cash handling, sandwich production, general kitchen duties always maintaining a high standard of hygiene, recording and monitoring data for H.A.C.C.P. and Environmental Health.
A degree of flexibility is essential, applicants who wish to be considered, must be available to cover all shifts within the department between the hours of 7.30am -9.00pm.
