In order to meet the increasing demand, NSS Digital & Security (DaS) are seeking to recruit 3 Programme Managers. The roles will deliver aspects of a wider portfolio of national strategic importance focusing on the implementation the world’s most comprehensive clinical terminology standard SNOMED CT to NHS Scotland’s national IT & digital systems. In order to benefit patients, clinicians and our population whilst supporting evidence based care. The three areas these roles cover will be;

1) National communications & engagement
2) SNOMED CT terminology server
3) National SNOMED CT information standard implementation


The Programme Managers will lead the delivery of their assigned programme areas via a range of digital projects helping achieve outcomes and benefits consistent with Scotland’s Digital Health & Care Strategy. 
Successful candidates should demonstrate a high degree of leadership with authentic gravitas, strategic thinking, relationship building and management, ability work to under pressure, manage competing demands, & have a track record of delivering outcomes focused large scale / National IT & digital change initiatives.
The post holder will report to the Head of Programmes and will be responsible for delivery & management of Digital and Security related programmes and projects for our internal NSS users and external customers.
