This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
Please note: As this post is part-time the salary will be pro-rata.
To identify, assess and plan for the health needs of children and young people previous looked after by the local authority, in various settings. The primary role of this post is to improve health outcomes for this group of young people with a focus on multi-agency working and ensuring structures are in place to provide and review the delivery of healthcare. There is a specific emphasis on transition from child to adult services that support young people through this life stage. To contribute to ensuring evidence-based practice in this specialist area.
