We are looking to recruit a Band 7 physiotherapists to join the APP team in the Emergency Department within the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
This is an exciting opportunity, to contribute to the improvement of the 4 hour Emergency Access Target for Unscheduled Care, within the emergency department. We are seeking an experienced MSK physiotherapist, with an understanding of flow demands of unscheduled care and the ability to work autonomously in a busy department. Your role would be to independently assess patients presenting in ED / minor injuries, make a provisional diagnosis, advise on management and treatment and where appropriate referral on to other services for management. You will work alongside both the medical and nursing staff and as part of your role you would be expected to educate other ED staff on the assessment and management of patients with MSK conditions.
The shift pattern for this post is 7/7
