We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our friendly and busy  Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team based at the Phoenix Centre. We are looking for a candidate, who is motivated, flexible who can work alone and within the multidisciplinary team.  You must also have skills and behaviours that demonstrate effective written and verbal communication, the ability to form good working relationships and to follow instructions as well as work on your own initiative. 

The post holder will  provide support to individuals experiencing moderate to severe mental health problems and who are on the caseload of the trained staff within the team, across tier 3 & 4 including Eating disorders.
 
The post holder will be an integral part of the CAMHS Team working alongside CAMHS staff and also a broad and diverse range of agencies/services, social care, education, specialist services including the children’s unit at Raigmore Hospital. This role will involve actively participating in multi-disciplinary meetings, team events and may require to work flexibly at times, which may be outside normal hours to meet  the needs of the service.

It is desirable that you are educated to or actively working towards SVQ3 (Health and Social Care) or  have completed a health / mental health or social care programme or equivalent. Its also desirable that you have previous experience of working  with vulnerable children and young people, preferably in a mental health serivce.
