This role includes  £1,298.39 (pro rata) High Secure Environmental Allowance per annum and £3,116.23 (pro rata) High Secure Clinical Responsibility Allowance per annum.


The State Hospital is seeking to employ a number of registered nurses to join our multidisciplinary teams.  You will be a registered mental health nurse or a registered intellectual disabilities nurse with a commitment to delivering nursing care in a person centred way by ensuring the patient is at the centre of everything you do.


Whilst previous experience within a high secure forensic setting is not essential, it would be advantageous to have knowledge of the needs of the patients in a forensic setting and be able to demonstrate our core values.


We recruit using a values based approach involving a written exercise, group discussion and a formal interview which takes approximately 2 ½ hours to complete.


The anticipated start date for these posts will be Monday 13th January.
