An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Children & Families Service, working with Health Visitor teams. As an integral part of the service you will work with families in Dundee or Angus and support Health Visiting teams to achieve our aim of enabling children to reach their full potential.
As a minimum you will be required to hold relevant HNC in Health and Social Care (e.g. Early Years Care & Education) or NNEB qualifications or equivalent.
You will be able to demonstrate and evidence post qualifying knowledge, have experience with children and have sound knowledge and skills of child development, play and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Whilst not essential, any of the following experience will be a distinct advantage:-
- Working with vulnerable families
- Working in the domiciliary setting
- Delivering parenting programmes
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
