An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated staff nurse to work within the Early Years Children and Families Team in East Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership. Applicants must be a 1st level Registered Nurse and possess a degree in a related field ie Nursing, Health Studies with evidence of further professional development. Excellent communication skills, a passion for improving outcomes for children, ability to be flexible and work within a large team to support the wellbeing of our children are all essential qualities. The successful candidate will support the seamless delivery of the childhood vaccination programme for pre 5 children to all GP practices within East Ayrshire. 

You will also work within the School Nursing Service to support and deliver interventions to improve the wellbeing of our children and families. 

Experience working with children and families in a clinic and community setting is desirable. Full induction and mentorship will be provided to the successful candidate.

Our Early Years’ service supports learning and career progression for our team members with continual learning and development opportunities in line with changing policy and practice in Early Years with a hope we are recruiting our future school nurses and health visitors.
