This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 registered nurse to join our enthusiastic medical nursing team in Glasgow Royal Infirmary. Do you want to work in an interesting acute medical ward environment where you can gain experience and skills in a variety of general medical conditions and specialise in Gastroenterology?
You will have the chance to work with this patient group and the opportunity to work alongside and be supported by experienced nurses, clinical nurse specialists and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide essential nursing care.
The working and learning environment is one where you can feel proud to provide a high standard of care to the patients and this role is perfect for a motivated nurse with an interest in the medical nursing.
The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to plan and prioritise workload efficiently, the skill to deliver a high standard of quality care and the ability to supervise others.
It is essential that you are currently a Registered Nurse with the NMC and having previous medical nursing experience would be desirable but not essential.
The shift pattern for this post is fully rotational 7 days/nights.
