ADVANCED PRACTICE COMMUNITY NURSE- DIABETES
BAND 7
(Salary: £40,872 - £47,846)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Advanced Practice Nurse for Diabetes based within the North Area (Caithness & Sutherland). You will also be part of a wider Diabetic Specialist Team for the North and more widely in Highland.
The role involves specialist clinical/ nursing skills being delivered in the community setting and you must be able to demonstrate continued personal development in this area. You will have good communication, time management and organisational skills to allow you to manage a caseload and work with the wider multi-disciplinary team. You will need to have the ability to work alone and on your own initiative, but still be a team player. You must be adaptable, self-motivated and able to respond to the challenges that this role will provide.
Relevant experience working within a community environment would be advantageous. Further training in specific areas of clinical nursing care and skills will be available.
A current driving licence is essential for this post and a pool car will be available.
