Ashcroft Ward is a ten bedded specialist dementia unit providing medical care, rehabilitation and assessment for old age psychiatry. We are seeking to recruit a dynamic, innovative Senior Charge Nurse to lead this unit. This person must have a genuine interest in dementia and experience of working with people with dementia and managing symptoms of stress and distress. In addition to this the successful candidate must work in a person centred way to meet the needs of the individuals in their care. Previous leadership experience is essential with experience of undertaking audit and change management.
