As a vital part of NHS Scotland, NHS National Services Scotland’s mission is to enable and support the delivery of better health and better care, working in partnership.  We do this by providing a range of specialised support services that enable NHS Boards to focus their efforts on delivering health improvement and patient care.

The core purpose of the Digital & Security organisation is the provision of world class Digital and Security expertise, solutions and services to our customers, which include NSS, NHS Boards, Scottish Government and the wider Public Sector in Scotland.

A critical role in ensuring integrated Business Technology strategy and delivery of suitable and effective solutions and services is the Associate Digital Business Partner (ADBP) position. This role provides a supporting role in establishing a trusted technology consultancy service to the customer to ensure that technology delivery and service aligns to the business strategy and operational requirements.

As an ADBP you will be responsible for exploring potential opportunities and in supporting developing and delivering digital solutions for a variety of customers.  You will leverage and assist in ensuring that overall Technology architecture / solutions support current and future business plans.  You will provide support to the Digital Business Partner team and in conjunction with Solution Design and Analysis areas, ensure demand requests are correctly assessed, designed and progressed to deliver value to our customers. In addition, you will provide a conduit from Digital and Security to ensure that operational metrics, current technology performance, process review and insights and other relevant information are used to further drive improvements in the provision of solutions and services.

You will be a key player in the development of the Digital Office function and in partnership with the wider Consultancy, Analysis, Architecture and Business Partner function, ensure a consistent and professional approach across the entire function. You will liaise and partner across Clinical, Transformation, Cloud Operations and Information Security areas in ensuring cross-functional approaches are designed and delivered to the customer in line with Digital and Security technology roadmaps.

Applications are invited from individuals who have Business Consulting and Business Partnering experience in a technical discipline who are both operationally minded to drive improvements and are curious to drive new ways of working and technology implementation to achieve step function changes in delivery.

Our benefits package includes pension scheme, comprehensive range of work life balance policies, occupational health services, learning resource centres and discounted leisure, financial and shopping benefits.
