​​​​​​​An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong clinical registered nurse to join the respiratory ward team.  In this crucial role you will work within the multidisciplinary team in the field of continuing respiratory/general medical nursing, a patient centered journey, through acute and chronic admissions.   As part of the multidisciplinary team, you will have the responsibility for ensuring there is an assessment of and implementation of patient centered assured quality care within the respiratory department. You will be key in the multidisciplinary team by utilising all available resources taking into consideration the lifestyle, gender and cultural background and ensure involvement with the patient, family, and significant others. You will empower patients to take responsibility for their health, well-being and future lifestyle by practicing in an open, transparent and inclusive manner; thereby ensuring patients have the relevant information to participate in decisions about their care.  As part of this team your continuing development is forefront. Access to further education and leadership development with internal support and yearly grants are available for conference contributions or master programs. There is a robust career structure within all medical wards of North G.G. &.C. Opportunities to develop wider management/leadership skills will continue through this post. You will be part of the medical service team working within sector targets and budgets associated with this department.   The shift pattern for this post is full rotational 7 days/nights.   As part of N.H.S Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s pre-employment checking for all appointed candidates, evidence of current N.M.C registration will be required prior to start date.
