We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Application Support Analyst to join our team at Kirklands - NHSL Headquarters
The post holder will provide application support for key eHealth based systems within NHS Lanarkshire. Predominantly within the services, specified in the Systems section below.
The work of the post holder will be directed by the direct line manager of the team
The post holder will be responsible for day to day maintenance of eHealth systems, to trouble shoot technical problems and provide technical reports in respect of system performance to the direct line manager of the team and will have supervisory responsibility for other staff involved in these activities while providing advice and support to the users who use a service supported by eHealth.
The post holder will provide a point of contact for eHealth for service related matters.
The post holder may have to provision services for support.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB
The post holder will be educated to degree level or equivalent experience, preferably in a computer related discipline. They should have experience in a senior technical support management role in an information technology department.
Have experience and evidence (training courses etc.) in an enterprise RDMS from vendors such as Microsoft or Oracle.
Be skilled in up to date server operating software particularly from vendors such as Microsoft
Be skilled in the use of standard desktop software i.e. Microsoft Office suite.
Knowledge of Clinical Diagnostic, Patient Management, Clinical Support & Business Services use within healthcare.
Have proven experience of supervising other staff.
Must be able to drive and have a current driving license,
Be familiar with principles and methods of project management.
