An opportunity has arisen for a part time Paediatric Physiotherapist position within West Dunbartonshire HSCP, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (GGC) based at Acorn Centre, Vale of Leven Hospital, Alexandria.
As an experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist  you will provide comprehensive and advanced/ specialised assessment, treatment and management to children and young people who have highly complex clinical conditions including general developmental delay, disorder of movement, musculoskeletal conditions, disability or illness which may be impaired, controlled or alleviated by physiotherapeutic skills and or the use of specialised equipment. You will have a clinical caseload and will ensure the delivery of safe, effective patient care for children and young people referred to our service.
There will be training and mentoring offered. It is essential that you have a Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy and that you are currently registered with the HCPC. You are expected to be highly competent in assessing a wide range of paediatric conditions based on advanced theoretical knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology, often in situations where conflicting evidence is present. You will have relevant post registration experience working with children and young people.
The shift pattern for this position is to be agreed.
