Applications are invited for Locum Foundation House Officer Year 1/2 and Locum Specialty Registrar Year 1/2 to work within NHS Grampian for a period of 4 months.

Full-time and Part-time hours will be considered. The post is fixed term for a period of 4 months based in General Medicine, Winter Wards,  Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. 

 

When working overnight the post holder will join the H@N team supported by  2 x medical registrars, 7 x FHO2/GPST/CMT/IMT1/CDF,  3 x FHO1, 4 x Advanced Nurse Practitioners and 4 x Senior Health Care Support workers. 
 

The standard working week is 40 hours.

 

The weekly rate for the following posts will be as follows:

 

Foundation House Officer 1 £611.52

Foundation House Officer 2 £760.32

Specialty Registrar 1/2 £889.92

 

These stimulating and enjoyable posts are primarily based within ECC, but will also have responsibility for some Medical patients in other departments of Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.  

 

Aberdeen is well known for its superb quality of life and enjoys first class amenities, housing and schools.  There are excellent connections with other British Cities and the continent, flying time to London is one hour with more than 20 daily flights – and road and rail links to all points north and south are easily accessible.
