An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative registerd nurse to lead the nursing team within our Geriatric Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Unit. Candidates will be able to evidence their ability to provide clinical leadership which inspires and motivates others, and have a passion for providing safe, effective ,person centred care for older adults. You will carry 24 hours continuing responsibility for the ward and will provide clinical leadership to the nursing/midwifery team to ensure safe and effective clinical practice, Enhance the patients experience of care, Manage and develop the performance of the team and Contribute to the delivery of the organisations objectives. You should be a registered adult nurse with the revalant experience within the relevant area and able to demonstrate expert clinical and professional practice developed through experience and theoretical knowledge. You should have good communication skills, good leadership skills and have continuous professional development, work effectively as part of a multi-professional / multi-agency team. The shift pattern will be discussed at interview.
