The Primary Care Department is responsible for securing an adequate level of primary care provision to meet the health needs of the Fife population.
Independent contractors’ eligibility is assessed, and their performance and contract compliance monitored. Guidance and support is provided to enable them to deliver a high quality service.
The department is the vehicle through which local and national developments in primary care are implemented, enabling NHS Fife and FHSCP to deliver modern ‘designed’ patient services.
As Head of Primary Care Administration, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive, efficient and effective primary care administration support. You will work closely with all our independent contractors - GPs, Dentists, Community Pharmacists and Optometrists, and will participate in inspecting their premises for compliance.
