DENBURN MEDICAL PRACTICE
GP (MATERNITY COVER)
We seek a GP/Locum to cover a period of maternity leave starting on the 28th October 2019 for a minimum period of 6 months, with possible extension after mutual agreement.
We require a total of 8 sessions per week to be covered. This could be split between two part time applicants, we will consider all applications for part time appointments.
Who are we?
We are a dual site practice, based in Aberdeen city centre and Northfield, with a list size of around 17,300 patients. We are a multi-disciplinary team, comprising of GPs, ANPs, NPs, a Pharmacist, and a Physicians Associate.
We operate a total triage model of care based on the Doctor First system, supported by traditional face to face surgeries. We are also a teaching and GP training practice.

- Full induction provided to learn the system
- Option for traditional ‘sit down’ surgeries vs telephone consults/triage
Who are we looking for?
- Clinicians with excellent communication skills.
- Dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic GPs who are able to embrace change and different ways of working.
- Previous experience of triage/telephone consultation desirable, though not essential.
