In preparation for operational demand over the winter months, we are recruiting 10 Fixed Term Contracts to our Porter Service.
The post holders will be required to provide the full range of porter related services to wards, departments and respond to needs of patients, staff, visitors and general public.
The post holders will carry out assigned duties to maintain hygiene, order, and safety within the environment specified below and includes transportation of patients and equipment associated with their care needs.
No formal qualifications are necessary, as the post holder will be given the necessary training to undertake the job.

Hours of cover to meet our operational demand vary as outline below:
- Day shift Mon-Fri 0800 - 1600hrs
- Late Shift Mon-Fri 1600 - 0000hrs
- Day Shift Thur – Sun 0800 - 1600hrs
- Late Shift Thur – Sun 1600 - 0000hrs
- Night Shift Mon – Thur 2230 - 0630hrs
- Night Shift Mon – Wed 2230 – 0630hrs
- Night Shift Thur – Sun 2230 – 0630hrs
