This is an exciting opportunity to develop, expand and consolidate the Community Chaplaincy Listening Service in Aberdeen City.
As the CCL Volunteer Co-ordinator you will:
- identify new opportunities for CCL within Primary Care, Public and Third Sector settings in Aberdeen City.
- recruit and facilitate the training of new CCL Volunteers
- support and supervise CCL volunteers
- actively engage as a CCL listener and have strategic overview for CCL across Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership
You will report to the NHS Grampian Senior Chaplain as your line manager. You will also report on a quarterly basis to Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership on the progress of the service.
We are looking for someone who is educated to degree level, with some knowledge of spiritual care and experience in listening, together with knowledge and experience of working with and supervising Volunteers.
We are also recruiting for a CCL Volunteer Co-ordinator in Aberdeenshire, and would welcome applicants to apply for both.
