SPECIALIST PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Band 6: £33,072 – £40,736
37.5 hours per week – Full time, 1 Year Fixed Term
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a physiotherapist eager to enhance their knowledge the MSK speciality. This post is to cover maternity leave and is available as a fixed term contract or a secondment opportunity. You will be based at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Dingwall but you will be part of the wider MSK Inverness & Ross team. Your clinical caseload will be split between Rheumatology in the Highland Rheumatology Unit and in the mainstream MSK outpatient department. You will be joining a motivated and friendly MSK and be well supported by Advance Physiotherapy Practitioners as well as physiotherapy peers. You will be required to assist and lead hydrotherapy sessions.
An ability to work independently is necessary along with excellent communication and team working skills. The post holder will be responsible for supervision of more junior grades and will be expected to participate in the ongoing in service training. Evidence of continuing professional development will be required.
