We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to lead NHS Fife’s emergency preparedness and business continuity planning.
The Head of Resilience postholder will provide expert advice for NHS Fife, supporting the Chief Executive, Director of Public Health and Senior Management Team on all civil contingencies matters and to ensure that the organisation’s plans and response capabilities enable effective joint working with other Category One Responders.
You will be an educated to degree level, preferably in a health or related subject and have SCQF level 11, for example through further qualification in a Resilience or risk management related subject.
You will work across the Local Resilience Partnership area and help to develop closer working arrangements with other resilience officers across the East of Scotland. Within NHS Fife, you will lead/line manage the Resilience Team within Public Health.
You will understand how to lead complex change, be an excellent leader and communicator and have an appreciation of local and national healthcare policy and strategy. You will be able to respond to changing demands and deliver at pace.
