Do you have an interest in health and wellbeing and enjoy working with children, young people and their families?
If so, we would love you to come and join our small, friendly Child Healthy Weight team.
The post holder will work as a Dietetic Assistant, alongside the Child Healthy Weight Dietitian to deliver 1:1 and group sessions with children, young people and their families. These sessions will encourage sustainable behaviour change through healthy eating, and promote an active lifestyle to help manage overweight and obesity in the young population of D&G. The post holder will be based at The Willows which hosts a wide variety of friendly staff members, however may be required to travel to other areas with the Dietitian to deliver sessions.
Scottish Government have ‘National Standards for the Delivery of Tier 2 and Tier 3 weight management services for children and young people in Scotland’ and our aim is to provide a high quality service which meets these standards.
