Forth Valley are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to lead our conscientious cardiac physiology team.
Our service provides a well-recognised echocardiography service performing both standard & specialist echocardiographic studies including dobutamine stress echo and have an established adult congenital and paediatric echo service. There is also an established ICD and CRT implant service. The department also performs a wide range of non-invasive tests including Exercise Tolerance Testing, 24 hour Ambulatory monitoring and analysis, Pacemaker, CRT & ICD follow up.
Essential qualifications required include HNC Physiological Measurement/BSc Cardiology or equivalent, BSE/EAE accreditation in Adult Echocardiography and/or IBHRE or equivalent, State Registration and ILS (Intermediate Life Support) from the Resuscitation Council (UK). Proof of continuing professional development is essential. It is expected that the applicant will have experience of leading a team. Management qualifications are desirable.
