An opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 dietitian to join the NHS Lothian Community Dietetic Team. This post will work within the Edinburgh Community Dietetic Service to support waiting list initiative providing mainly an oral nutritional support clinical service to patients within the City of Edinburgh who are waiting for an initial assessment. It is a great opportunity to develop your skills in a community setting for a dietitian who has a keen interest in this clinical area. It will involve domiciliary visits including visits to care homes to those individuals who are unable to attend community based clinics.
You would be expected to provide clinical support for other dietitians who are on leave as part of the Lothian Dietetic Team.
We are strongly committed to training and support for CPD and clinical governance, with a supervision framework, annual appraisals, peer support and training opportunities to further develop your clinical skills.
