As part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will have responsibility for assessment of care needs and the development of programmes of care, and/or the implementation and evaluation fo these programmes ensuring the delivery of high quality care to patients. MINIMUM REQ.
Part 8 or 15 on NMC register. Part 1 on NMC register must be competent in looking after adult ICU patients. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 5 staff nurses within PICU in The Royal Hospital for Children. The successful candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, work effectively within the multi-disciplinary team. You would be expected to deliver high quality, evidenced based, patient and family centred care to patients of varying levels of dependency. You will have the ability to prioritise your work load in a critical care environment and possess sound clinical skills for the assessment of patient needs. Intravenous medication certificate desirable but not essential..
Shift pattern is; 11.25 hours- Days & nights rotation including weekends, and public holidays
Part time hours are negotiable
