An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated registered nurse to join the Specialist Palliative Care Services in NHS Borders.

Are you someone who is experienced in delivering person centred approaches for people with palliative and end of life care needs?
The role of the Clinical Nurse Specialist can both be rewarding and challenging. The Specialist Palliative Care Services is looking for someone who has commitment in delivering high quality care, holistically assessing a person’s care needs and their priorities in their care through safe and effective judgements and decisions.
The role provides specialist advice and support for people with palliative and end of life care needs, their families and people important to them. Working closely with professional colleagues across community and acute services is a key driver to ensure effective joined up care is being delivered.
This role will predominately work within the community as well as within hospital environments. Anyone who is interested in this position would need to have confidence and competence to work autonomously, as well as being part of a team.
