Situated in the North East of Scotland, Moray is a great place to live and work. The area of Moray sits between the coast of the Moray Firth and the mountains of the Highlands and the Cairngorm National Park, with lots to see and do in the local area. The Moray coast is popular for its long expanses of natural beaches with picturesque fishing villages and frequent sightings of seals and dolphins along the shores. The nearby Cairngorms and the Lecht are a popular choice for those who enjoy skiing during the winter, and the River Spey and River Findhorn are popular fishing locations within the area. There are many local forest trails to explore, and a large variety of outdoor activities available nearby such as hill walking, horse riding, mountain biking, hiking, gliding and sailing, amongst many other available activities. Moray is also home to many golf courses, including Lossiemouth’s championship links course.

The town of Elgin is easily accessible by road and by train. Elgin lies 65 miles from Aberdeen and 37 miles from Inverness, providing access to local airports for travel across the UK, Europe and further afield. There are both public and private schools available in the area, and several local nurseries.
