We are expanding! An exciting opportunity has become available for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the Rural Support Team, based in Skye, Lochalsh & West Ross. Working at a highly advanced level this post offers the opportunity to use your skills in acute care and work at the top of your licence. You will be based in our Urgent Care Centre in Portree, this may require home visits, and you will rotate into Broadford Hospital to support the Rural Emergency Physicians provide emergency care.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic candidates who will embrace the challenges of this role working in a remote and rural setting. You must be registered with the NMC/HCPC and have experience in an acute setting. Ideally candidates should have NHS Highland approved advanced clinical assessment/history taking module and be a prescriber.
Full support will be given to obtain core Masters level qualifications if required.
Band 6 candidates with relevant experience and drive can also be considered for this post progressing to band 7 upon completion of ANP training and portfolio. This is a full-time permanent post of 150 hours per 28 day month, and may require some on-call to be worked in accordance with service requirements.
