An exciting opportunity has become available for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the Rural Support Team, base to be agreed but to cover both in and OOH’s in Skye, Lochalsh and west Ross and surrounding areas, so a background in Primary care is desirable but not essential. Working at a highly advanced level this post offers the opportunity to use your skills in acute and Primary care and work at the top of your licence. The role covers primarily the OOH’s on an call and working hours rota but there will be opportunity also for in hours working in various settings on a rotational basis.

It should be noted that this role will require you to be away from home for periods of up to a week and involves travel to various locations in the Highlands.

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic candidates who will embrace the challenges of this dynamic and varied role working in remote and rural settings.  You must be registered with the NMC/HCPC and be an experienced professional.  Ideally candidates should have completed the advanced clinical assessment/history taking module and be a prescriber.

This is a permanent post of 37.5 hours per week. A full Driving Licence is essential.
