We are looking for a highly motivated member of staff to join our stop smoking team in Forth Valley. The post holder will deliver intensive smoking cessation support working across Forth Valley providing expertise and advice through structured behaviour change support on a one to one, telephone or group basis as well as recommendations for pharmacotherapy. The post holder will work closely with a range of NHS staff and partners to raise awareness and assist in the development of local stop smoking services to meet need.

This post will suit individuals who have recent experience in delivering smoking cessation support. The successful candidate will be qualified to degree level in a relevant specialist area and demonstrate an understanding of the health improvement policy agenda. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently but also as part of a team are essential.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is necessary for this post.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Basic Police Act Disclosure Scotland Check.
