Highland Health and Social Care Services help people from all walks of life, as well as their families or carers. Health and Social Care in Highland provides help and assistance in many situations arising due to illness, disability, old age or poverty.
The role of Care at Home Co-ordinator is integral to the day to day management of the Lochaber Care at Home service, you would be responsible for supporting the Care at Home Officer and wider team by scheduling care for individuals who have been assessed as eligible for support from Care at Home Service. This can be a challenging but rewarding role which requires the post holder to be able to demonstrate their prioritisation skills in a fast paced service, the ability to input/maintain our in house systems & to deputise for Care at Home Officer at times.
The successful applicant will be supported and inducted into the role, you will be required to have an understanding of administrative and electronic recording systems and use of technology but will be trained in the specific systems when you commence in post. Applicants must have good communication skills – both verbally and in writing, and have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft software systems.
