As a response to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic the Scottish Government in May 2020 gave NHS Board Nurse Directors additional accountability for the provision of nursing, leadership, support and guidance for Care Homes.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Adult Support Protection (ASP) Advisor to work with the Care Home Professional Support Team (CHPST). You will provide care homes and the CHPST with the ASP support needed to improve knowledge and contribute to the prevention of harm. Working alongside the Adult Support and Protection Lead. You will provide professional leadership, expert advice, and best practice guidance and support for care home staff. Please note this post covers Care Homes across the Ayrshire and Arran region and travelling will be required.
You must have excellent communication skills and evidence of continued professional development in a related role. You must be prepared to undertake further relevant training for the role. You will work with autonomy and professional discretion to prioritise and determine the daily co-ordination of activities.
Full Driving Licence is required.
