This post offers an exciting opportunity to work as a community physiotherapist within an established integrated health and social care team. This highly specialist multi-disciplinary team assess and treat a variety of multi-pathology conditions such as musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, respiratory and neurological; with the primary focus of facilitating the discharge home of patients from acute care. The team also aim to minimise avoidable hospital admissions and maximise individuals’ ability to remain safely at home following recent discharge.

 You will be responsible for delivering a specialised domiciliary physiotherapy service to patients/clients living within West Dumbarton Health and Social Care Partnership catchment area.

You will also provide physiotherapy advice and direction to other members of the MDT.  Supervise Rehabilitation Support Workers and students on clinical placement.

The post offers the opportunity for a mix of office and remote working. This allows the successful applicant to work from home as well is being out in the fresh air taking in the beautiful sights of West Dunbartonshire as home visits are carried out. You will work 37.5 hours Monday – Friday.There is no on-call rota for overnights or weekend work.

The shift pattern for this post is Mon-Friday 8;30-16:30
