Consultant Psychiatrist in Perinatal Psychiatry
This is an exciting time to join a dynamic, forward thinking and passionate team within Lanarkshire’s Mental Health Services. As of 2019, substantial funding has been released from the Scottish Government to ensure there is equitable and high quality Perinatal Psychiatric treatment and care delivered to pregnant and antenatal women within Scotland, and to develop sustainable services. The post will be community based, and supported by an excellent and innovative perinatal mental health team who has worked hard to develop this post. The successful colleague will contribute to the Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Work stream of the Lanarkshire Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy and be involved in education and training.
