As a Telephonist based at University Hospital Crosshouse you will provide an efficient telecommunications switchboard service, internal and external paging systems including Fire Team, Cardiac Arrest and Trauma Teams, and Call Out in event of Major Incidents, Accidents or Bomb Threats.

​​​​​​​Switchboard and/or Contact Centre experience along with excellent communication skills are essential. Competence in using computer equipment, Microsoft Office, E-mail and Internet is also essential.

Hours: 34.5 per week. Working flexibly to provide cover during periods of leave or sickness which regularly includes unsociable hours.

Please note initial training period is a minimum of six weeks, between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday – Friday.
