Applications are invited for a whole time, or maximum part-time consultant post in Neonatology in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. The post will be based in the Princess Royal Maternity, a large tertiary neonatal unit with 5,800 deliveries, and will join the existing body of 7 consultants in post on this site. All neonatal units in Greater Glasgow and Clyde are now part of a single management structure with additional neonatal cots based at The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in the south of Glasgow and the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley.
Applicants must have full GMC Registration, a license to practise and be eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register. Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT in paediatrics (neonatal medicine) or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview. Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.
