Station 4, Urology surgery at University Hospital Ayr is a 23 bedded unit which receives emergency and elective surgery.  

As a registered nurse with continuous professional development you will be highly motivated.  With minimal supervision and in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, the post holder will be accountable for the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care for a defined caseload of patients working within the professional standards held in the NMC Code of Professional Conduct ensuring safe, effective person centered care is delivered.  

You must be able to work on your own initiative, implement change and also be part of the multidisciplinary team.  Excellent communication skills are essential as are documentation skills and cohesive team working to ensure stability of the workforce.

Hours: 34.5 per week.
